"Heart of Texas Necklace"
 
Sterling Silver Texas, approx. 3in wide on chunky Sterling Silver chain, approx. 17 in long.
 
Genuine natural Turquoise Heart is also hand carved in-house.
 
Due to the nature of the stones, the color and matrix will vary.
 
This piece was inspired by the recent floods that devastated the Texas Hill Country and my hometown of Kerrville, Texas. To the piece, I added my signature Chiseled Rock texture--a tribute to the strength that we all stand firm in maintaining and building/re-building upon.  It surrounds the polished Turquoise Heart that I also hand-carved to fit the piece, again circling back to the theme of strength and foundation.
 
It represents the Hope that lasts, no matter the trials. And it is our solid foundation as a community that guides us into that hopeful future.
 
100% of the proceeds from this piece goes to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country in assisting victims of the flooding and local ongoing wildlife and vegetation restoration efforts.
